Rosey Religion?
"Praise allah! That baby is in heaven with allah! I am so happy!"
L visited two girlfriends. Actually, two sisters, named M and K; M is married and K is single. M just had her 4th miscarriage and understandably, was feeling sad. She didn't say much because her single sister, K dominated the conversation with words of a "rosey religion."
"Praise allah! The baby is in heaven! Praise allah!"
On and on she rambled, spouting rosey religious platitudes, sounding like a "know it all" even though she is not married and has no experience in these things.
M sat there silent. Rosey religion indeed.
