True Love Waits

God created us humans in his image, and He created us to have sex, because He created sex for pleasure and for procreation.  God set parameters for sex not because he is rigid, but for our own good.  Sex is best experienced within a committed relationship, called holy matrimony, or sacred marriage. It was his original idea in the Garden of Eden.

Having said that, there are some other points to make:

1  Believers do not lose "purity" because of sex before marriage. Sexual immorality is sin, but Christ is sufficient to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, provided we confess it and repent.
2  Sex before marriage is not the unforgiveable sin.
3  Sex is not like the movies.
4  Sex may not have been a choice for some people who were abused.
5  Sex is not too "holy" for discussion.
6  Sex is not dirty. It is beautiful and sacred.
7  There is no rule-book for physical intimacy.
8  Sex is a 2 way street.  Both need to agree on it.
9  Do not underestimate the power of prayer.
10 True love always loves.
