Moving House
Moving house is one of my least favorite things to do. Too much stuff to think about, to organize and pack, sort, move, unpack, restock, setup and settle back in. It's a pain in the butt.
If it was just me, I would down size and reduce, reduce. I think I should go minimalist.
But, I am married and have 2 teenagers. That means more stuff.
On top of that, I am living in SE Asia, away from relatives and community is still not strong for asking for help. We need strong community; people who really help out when the going gets tough.
We're doing it the hard way because we are down-sizing, school is finishing up, renewing my son's visa and we're preparing to fly back to the USA for the summer. And we 're cluttered. Yuck. This is the hand we are dealt with. these are the cards. So, we need to respond in calm, faithful power. We will get through this. We will.
Lord have mercy. Thank you Lord.
