Do drop in
"Hello, we are in your neighborhood and coming over."
Just the other day, Hasna from a beach village phoned and told us she was visiting us. Along with 2 other ladies. In 20 minutes.
Traditional Moroccan culture is a "do drop in" culture. People show up at your door at any time. We've had a guy from Casablanca knock at 6am, beggars at 9pm, and a squating lady at 5pm tea time. Now not all are friends. Beggars are beggars and they are supposed to come Fridays for mosque day at lunch. We seem to get strange ones.
