Peacemakers

This past week there was unrest and outcry here and in other cities. Innocent people suffering and beaten. Even women; young girls and grandmothers. Where is justice and peace?

We live in a world of troubles and disagreements. One side says one thing, the other side says something else. We argue and want to be right. The problem is that the other guy thinks he is right, too. We end up fighting. Where is the peacemaker? Who will listen to both sides?

The peacemaker is the one who takes the 'Road Less Traveled.' Few are those precious people who want peace for all.
It is up to us to be peacemakers, because the world needs us and no one else will do it. But how do we do it?

I believe that we must follow the peacemakers who have preceeded us. Who are they? Peacemakers are those who have peace with God; peace in their hearts, live a life of peace, and come to bring peace to peoples' relationships. They are at peace even with their enemies.
